Cayman Islands Brewery

Cayman Islands Brewery (CIB) was launched in 2007 and prides itself on its environmentally friendly production and distribution, including returnable bottles. The company offers several signature brands and a variety of seasonals, including:

Caybrew: This is a full-bodied premium pale lager with a clean, crisp character and is the brewery’s flagship product. It won an international gold medal for quality.

White Tip Lager: This smooth, moderate-bodied Belgian style pilsner is the world’s first conservation beer. Part of the profits are donated to the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.

Caybrew Light: This light lager with only about 100 calories and 2.4 grams of carbs. It’s also specially crafted to remove the gluten. It pairs well with light seafood, salads and pastas.

Ironshore Bock: This amber beer is brewed with specialty hops from the Cascade Mountains to 7% ABV and aged in rum barrels. Try it with BBQ and jerk chicken or pork.

345 Lager: This crisp, refreshing, light-bodied lager is one of the Islands’ most popular beers. Enjoy it with burgers, hot wings, nachos and salty foods.

Mango Tango: This is one of CIB’s most popular seasonals; it features tropical mango and a hint of coconut and is superb on a hot Cayman day with salads, seafood, Mexican food and jerk chicken.

Nitro Stout: This is a nitrogenized version of the brewery’s 345 Stout, and it emphasizes the chocolate and sweetness from the darker kilned malts and has a creamy finish.

Shell Shock IPA: This light bodied, golden India Pale Ale is bursting with aromatic hops that boasts the bold flavors of citrus and grapefruit. It goes great with burgers, spicy jerk chicken and BBQ.

Seven Mile Wheat: CIB’s American Pale Wheat Ale features an orange marmalade and coriander aroma and is named for Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach, the most famous beach in the Caribbean.

Freestyle: The brewery recently launched this low-calorie, low-carb, gluten-free ale. The light-bodied beer has just 96 calories, a slight fruity aroma (pineapple) from the addition of citrus hops, and is wonderful with seafood and salads.
