About Cayman Islands Brewery (CIB)
The state-of-the-art Cayman Islands Brewery has a fully automated brew house on Grand Cayman with kegging, canning and bottling lines. CIB produces a range of beers that have won awards in the international arena and are favorites with Cayman locals and visitors from around the world.
If you’re interested in sampling the beers and learning more about the brewing process, visit Cayman Islands Brewery for one of their popular and informative tours that take place from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Monday through Friday.
Two of CIB’s highly regarded beers are:
- 345 Lager: Named for the Cayman Islands telephone area code, 345 Lager is one of CIB’s biggest sellers. The affordable blond, light, refreshing island lager is 4.5% ABV and has a clean, crisp taste. It’s a favorite of those who want a satisfying thirst-quenching brew at the end of a long day of work or swimming and diving.
- 345 Stout: If you’re seeking a little more kick, 345 Stout weighs in at 7.5% ABV. The dark brown stout pours with a fine beige head. It is created with seven different specialty aromatic malts that are roasted until they acquire a rich, dark chocolate color and aged in rum barrels. Fans enjoy the mellow sweetness, the aroma of cocoa, molasses and coffee beans, and the flavors of chocolate and coffee that linger on the palate.
