About Coors Light
Launched by Adolph Coors in Golden, Colorado in 1873, Coors Brewing Company is now a division of the world’s third-largest brewing company, the Molson Coors Brewing Company. The brewery in Golden, is the largest single brewery facility in the world.
In the 1940s, the Coors Brewing Company introduced a beer called Coors Light, that was lighter in body and calories, but it was discontinued at the beginning of World War II. In 1973, Miller Lite was introduced and Coors Lite reemerged in 1978 in response.
For much of its first 100 years, Coors beer was marketed solely in the American West. This gave it cult status and made it a novelty, particularly east of the Mississippi. Visitors returning from the western states would often bring back a case or two. By the mid-1980s, the company finally established nationwide distribution.

Blue Moon Belgian White: This unfiltered wheat ale is brewed by Coors in Denver, Colorado and spiced in the Belgian tradition for a smooth taste. It has won a variety of medals in the white beer category.
Corona Extra: This Pilsner-type beer has been brewed and bottled domestically in Mexico since 1925 and was introduced in the U.S. in 1981. It has a slightly sweet taste with a dash of citrus and hints of lemon and ginger. Outside Mexico, Corona Extra is typically served with a wedge of lime or lemon in the neck of the bottle to add tartness and flavor.
Dos Equis Lager Especial: Brewed in Monterrey, Mexico from pure spring water and the choicest hops, Dos Equis was originally named Siglo XX to celebrate the arrival of the 20th century. It later became known as Dos Equis (which means “two X’s” in Spanish) and is a refreshing golden aromatic lager that drinks like a pilsner.
Red Stripe: This is Jamaica’s famous brew that debuted in 1928. It’s a beautiful pale lager with a light gold color. Today, Red Stripe is part of one of the largest beverage conglomerates in the world, Heineken.
