Local Craft Beer: Cayman Islands Brewery was launched in 2007 and is the only brewery on Grand Cayman. Since inception, they have launched 10 beer brands and 3 seasonal beers, some of which have won awards in the international arena, that are favorites with Cayman locals and visitors from around the world. They include: Caybrew, 345 Lager, Ironshore Bock, and White Tip Lager.
Global Beers: At Jacques Scott Wines & Spirits, you’ll find a dizzying number of international beers to choose from. Red Stripe is Jamaica’s famous brew that debuted in 1928. Guinness Stout, an Irish Dry Stout from Dublin, Ireland, is one of the most successful beer brands in the world. Hoegaarden is a well-known, award-winning wheat beer that comes from the Belgian village of Hoegaarden, where they have brewed white beers (witbieren) since 1445.
