Enjoy the Cayman Islands

Turtle Farm

The world-renowned 23-acre Cayman Turtle Farm is a marine adventure park that is home to over 7,000 Green Sea Turtles. They are the largest of the hard-shelled sea turtles and the second largest of all turtle species. Some of them weigh more than 500 pounds.

Stingray City

Another of our famous attractions is Stingray City. Thousands of tourists visit the park each day by boat and walk, swim and snorkel among the incredibly friendly stingrays that roam free in an area of the ocean protected by offshore reefs. The stingrays are large, friendly and love to be petted.

Pedro St. James National Historic Site

Pedro St. James, or the “Castle,” is an elaborate three-story great house built in 1780 by a wealthy English slave owner. Today, the historic building, located about 20 minutes by car from George Town, is best known as the birthplace of democracy in the islands. Take an interactive tour and enjoy the beautiful setting with a fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea.

National Gallery of the Cayman Islands

In George Town, enjoy high-quality Caymanian art at the National Gallery that captures life in the Cayman Islands over the last 40 years or spend some time in their series of sculpture gardens. There are also scheduled and drop-in art classes as well as workshops for adults and children.

Kittiwake Shipwreck and Underwater Museum

In West Bay, discover the historic USS Kittiwake, a submarine rescue vessel that was in service from 1945 to 1994 and later sunk in the Cayman Islands to create an artificial reef. The Kittiwake is 251 feet long with 5 decks and can be enjoyed by all skill levels of snorkelers and scuba divers. To dive or snorkel the Kittiwake, you must take a licensed vessel.

Bioluminescent Bay

For a unique evening adventure, consider a kayaking tour of Grand Cayman’s Bioluminescent Bay. This amazing phenomenon which causes the sea to light up in the dark of the night is created by tiny single-celled organisms called dinoflagellates that emit light as they move in the water.

Whether traveling solo or with friends or family, the Cayman Islands offer attractions that everyone can enjoy, including the world’s finest beverages from Jacques Scott Wines & Spirits!
