What to Expect
When you buy beer in the U.S., you’ll find domestic beers (e.g., Coors, Budweiser, Michelob) at about half the price of imported beers (e.g., Amstel, Heineken, Stella Artois). In Grand Cayman, nearly all beers have to be imported (except the locally produced Caybrew beers), so you may not notice a significant price difference.

If you’re looking for the best prices, try Cayman’s own locally produced beers from Cayman Islands Brewery (CIB). They’re known for being environmentally friendly, including the pristine purified water they use to produce the freshest beer in the Caribbean and their returnable bottles.
