Scotch Whisky

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is considered by many to be “Best Single Malt Whisky in the World.” It has a smokey-smooth taste, without being too overpowering. The peaty single malt Islay Scotch whisky is wonderful when paired with cheeses like Danish Bleu cheese, Roquefort or Gorgonzola, oysters, smoked almonds, smoked salmon, sushi, and finger sandwiches made with toast and Brie.

We also represent Johnnie Walker Scotch and stock all colors – from the best-selling Johnnie Walker Red Label to the iconic Johnnie Walker Blue Label, one of the most sought-after whiskies in the world.

American Bourbon Whiskey

American Bourbon is not as simple as you might think. It has to be made in the United States; it must include at least 51% corn; it must be produced at not more than 80% alcohol (160 proof) and stored in charred new oak containers at no more than 62.5% (125 proof).

The Woodford Reserve Distillery has been distilling on the same site since 1780, making it the oldest Bourbon distillery in Kentucky and practically the inventor of the spirit we know and love today. Rich and thick with the flavors of toffee, caramel chocolate, baking spices, and orange zest, you can’t go wrong with the classic dark amber Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Wonderfully smooth, it makes a terrific Old-Fashioned cocktail

Canadian Whisky

Crown Royal is “THE” Canadian Whisky. It was introduced in 1939 as a tribute to the royal visit of King George VI and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, the first of a reigning monarch to Canada, and was available only in Canada until 1964. It’s a very smooth, easy-to-drink blended whisky.

The whisky is produced solely at the company’s distillery at Gimli, on the shores of Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where 10,000 bushels of grain and 3.4 million liters (900,000 US gallons) of water are consumed each day. At any given time, expect to find 2 million barrels aging in 50 warehouses over 5 acres of land.

Irish Whiskey

John Jameson, a Scottish lawyer, founded a distillery in Dublin, Ireland in 1780. Since then, Jameson Irish Whiskey (now distilled in Cork, Ireland) has become the most recognizable and best-selling Irish whiskey in the world. And it’s as smooth as it gets!

Jameson is produced from a blend of grain whiskey and single pot still whiskey, which uses a mixture of malted and unmalted or “green” Irish barley, all sourced from within a 50-mile radius of the distillery in Cork. The whiskey is not as sweet as most American Bourbon whiskies, and does not have the smoky, burnt-rubber taste that comes from the peat in Scotch whiskey.
