The famous Champagne producer, Louis Roederer, is just one of the of the top champagne houses who have ventured away from the caves in France to find new ventures in the ‘new world’.

Roederer Estate Brut is the first sparkling wine to be produced by Louis Roederer, further building upon a 200-year tradition of fine winemaking from this family owned company. Roederers unique winemaking style is based on two elements: complete ownership of its vineyards and the addition of oak-aged reserve to each year’s blend or cuvee.

The Roederer winemaking philosophy has guided the development of the estate, located 125 miles from San Francisco near the Mendocino Coast. Since 1982, the winery has been quietly developing its vineyards and crafting fine wines from the Anderson Valley. Roederer Estate’s Anderson Valley Brut debuted in October 1988 followed by the winery’s first vintage, in 1989, released in the fall of 1993.

Louis Roederer is famous for making prestigious Champagnes such as the iconic Cristal. Roederer has now spread its experience and mastered techniques across the globe to discover the impact of other climates. Sparkling wine is made using the traditional method, the same way wines from the Champagne region are produced. It also uses the classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The Louis Roederer Anderson Estate is available at your local Jacques Scott store, often on sale it is typically priced at a steal. Enjoy the magical style of an amazing Champagne house for a great price.
