Popular Bars and Clubs

No matter what you are in the mood for, from casual to sophisticated, you will find it on Grand Cayman!

Some of our favorite bars and clubs in Seven Mile Beach include Anchor & Den in the lobby of the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort. It’s a sophisticated spot known for its “apothecary” inspired cocktails, food specials, and live music several days a week.

If you’re looking for the freshest draft beer, Fidel Murphy’s Public House in Queen’s Court Plaza is one of Cayman’s oldest and best options. On various days, enjoy karaoke, live music, watch football, rugby and cricket matches, and UFC, NHL, MLB and NFL events. They also have excellent pub food.

If you’re on the West Bay coast, Macabuca Oceanside Tiki Bar is a great spot to watch the sunset and enjoy live musical entertainment on Saturday nights. You can’t go wrong with their signature “Macabuca Punch” that’s made with five rums, ginger ale and dash of passion fruit. When you get hungry, try the popular Cracked Conch restaurant (upstairs) or the bar’s grilled beachy fare.  You can also go for a night dive right from their dock.

Unique Evening Adventures

Visit Bioluminescent Bay – There are just a handful of bioluminescent bays in the world, and you can enjoy one of the best on the north side of Grand Cayman. The magical phenomenon, which causes the sea to glow during the darkest nights, is created by tiny single-celled organisms called dinoflagellates that emit light as they move through the water. Reserve with tour operators like Crystal Charters in advance because the brightest light displays follow the moon cycle.

Kittiwake Shipwreck & Underwater Museum – Dive or snorkel on the wreck of the USS Kittiwake. This large shipwreck is a haven for 50 species of coral and more than 500 species of fish. Darkness gives it a more eerie feel as you move from room to room with just your flashlight leading the way, and it’s one of the most exciting ways to dive this wreck.

Night Diving – The Cayman Island are a world-class destination for snorkelers and divers. But you never know what you might find when you go diving at night! Marine life behaves differently after dark. Experience night-feeding tarpon, sleeping turtles, lobsters searching for food, color-changing octopus and more. Operators like Divetech can help you arrange a night dive.

If you prefer relaxing at home in Grand Cayman over the noisy crowds you typically find in bars and clubs, place an online order with Jacques Scott Wines & Spirits, and we will deliver FREE of charge, directly to your residence, office, yacht, villa or resort hotel.
